I was a young man then, inexperienced and unsure. I was known as "Peter the Uncertain". I found myself working on an oil field exploration site on the north coast of Alaska in the middle of December. It was pitch black twenty-four hours a day and so bitterly cold the Arctic Ocean was frozen to it's floor. At the end of an especially surreal, bone chilling, face cracking, dark side of the moon work shift I burrowed deep under the covers of my metal cot and began to imagine breaking the chains of wage slavery. Like a prisoner sentenced to life I fantasized about freedom. The kind of freedom made possible only by an unlimited source of perpetual income. With these pleasant visions playing through my mind I fell into a deep sleep.

          One day while taking a short respite from the search I noticed a tall, thickly built stranger with a mustache and coarse graying hair, wearing a dark blue, pin-striped suit, seemingly out of place, pacing and fidgeting in the lobby of where I worked. He seemed somewhat uncomfortable like he was waiting for someone but not quite sure whom. I thought maybe I could make him feel welcome so I approached the man with a friendly greeting. The pacing and fidgeting immediately stopped, his face lit up upon seeing me and we immediately found the common ground of options trading. You see I was an options trader and national instructor for a well-known seminar company and he was, well he was what I had been looking for. 

          You see he had been swallowed by the 'Beast' and was one of the few brave enough and smart enough to come back alive to tell the tale. He told me he had spent years at the Chicago Options Exchange as a Floor Trader. He told me what happens to most people who dare to throw their wits and money at the 'Beast' in hopes of obtaining some of it's closely guarded treasure. He told me stories of Herculean assaults by freedom crazed wage slaves with only the bleached bones of their loss swept options accounts left to tell the tale. I was riveted by his narrative, and then  suddenly he stopped. He looked around to see if anyone was listening then slowly leaned forward and lowered his voice, "There is a way you know" he confided, "To beat the Beast".

          I listened and his method was like music to me. As each detail unfolded,  I gained another piece of armor or shield or spear to use against the Beast, until by the end of our dialogue I felt reborn, larger, stronger and more confident. A man knows that which rings true, and I knew I held in my hand at that moment that which I had been seeking. I went forth and conquered the beast and in time became known to those who followed as  "Peter the Great" for all the good that had been done in their lives. And then I awoke in a beautiful place. A place I call Cashflow Heaven.
